                    Venus Tarkaswar, Music Director, Singer, "Harmony", is a natural composer and an extremely talented graded singer with a multidimensional creative vision and a subtle aesthetic sense. She is trained in Indian Classical music under maestro Swami Siddharam Korwar, light music under the guidance of Umesh Tarkaswar and (under SPIC MACAY scholarships) from Dhrupad maestro Pt. Abhay Narayan Malik. Having the experience of different genres of music she highly appreciates innovation and experiments for keeping the liveliness of music go on.In her words, "what music speaks nothing else does"

                    A college all rounder Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma Memorial Gold medalist and felicitated in Youth festivals at State and National level, she has won several accolades. Also a bachelor in Kathak dance she displays immaculate style and a combined talent of dance and singing with unprecedented and graceful intensity. With a keen interest in arts especially music and dance, she believes in innovation and experiments in music. Masters in Indian Classical music and English Literature she has taught music at Banasthali University, Jaipur (Rajasthan). She has presented a paper on music and dance at a seminar organized on World Dance Day 2006 by Sangeet Natak Academy, Delhi. She has also been teaching music since last eight years to individuals along side producing music for media with Umesh.

                    Blessed with a mellifluous, penetrating, soothing, noticeable and good range of voice she has composed, sung and performed on different platforms for various stage shows such as at Governor House, Doordarshan's live show, College festivals, Youth festivals- Gwalior, Gujrat, Jabalpur, Amritsar, Nagpur, Swami Haridas Sammelan- Vrindavan, National Integration Camp- Goa, Gujrati Garba and Dandia raas at different cities and many others. She has also composed and sung the invaluable poetries of poets such as Nazeer Akbarabadi, Agyaat, Bismil, Mahadevi Verma, Mirza Ghalib, Surdas, Kabir, Meera, Amir Khusrau, Bahadur Shah Zafar, Shahjehan Begum and innumerable others.

                    Highly imaginative, also a lyricist, she has composed her self expressions in a collection of songs that are exalting melodies. Her self-written lyrics comprise of both languages Hindi and English. She relishes listening to Western music as much as Indian music styles. Her favorite styles of music range from semi-classical and folk to World music. Her voice texture suits soft numbers including romantic songs, classical and songs with emotional feel. She is also comfortable singing Sufi songs or even peppy numbers.

                    Venus has also composed and sung for projects related to literary, historical and patriotic poetries for Stage Shows, Television channels and FM programmes. She has also recorded her voice for commercials, advertisements, jingles, title tracks, signatures, background music for telefilms, documentaries, TV serials and programs etc. At present she is also a research scholar.
